Senior Instructional Designer

Job Description

Denodo is currently seeking a bright, motivated Instructional Designer to join our fast-paced, passionate Sales Enablement Team. This is an excellent opportunity to help design and deliver learning experiences that inspire and enable our Denodo employees to be effective in their roles and achieve their goals. The role will involve the design, development and implementation of high-quality eLearning courses and content. You will work closely with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective online learning experiences that meet the needs of Denodo. The role covers three key areas of responsibility:

1.  eLearning Instructional Design

 This covers the methods and materials that are used to teach a course. This is more process orientated and focuses on the overall learning experience.

2. eLearning Curriculum Content Development

This covers the development of content for eLearning. Content needs to be transformed into learning to suit the company requirements.

3. eLearning Course Development

This covers the construction of the eLearning courses and modules in a learning management system.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Work collaboratively as a team member on the design, development, production and delivery of flexible learning materials and training programs.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SME) and other stakeholders to understand content requirements and create innovative, quality, and cost-effective learning solutions to enhance seller engagement.
• Work closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) team to identify learning objectives and curriculum content requirements.
• Create an effective e-learning storyboard as a visual planning tool that maps out the elements and flow of the eLearning courses and modules.
• Design and develop interactive eLearning courses using Authoring tools.
• Create engaging and interactive multimedia content, including videos, quick reference guides, simulations, and assessments.
• Ensure that eLearning materials are user-friendly, accessible, and inclusive and comply with industry standards.
• Stay up to date with eLearning trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve our offerings.
• Evaluate and continuously improve learning programs in alignment with the needs of the organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve, update, or customize training materials to meet the needs of the leaners.
• Conduct course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training and incorporate measurement and assessment results into future training.

Desired Skills & Experience

• A degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in designing and developing eLearning content and materials, preferably in a computer software company or within a complex organization.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in training and applying curriculum development and instructional design practices and methodologies to support training creation and delivery.
• Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, multimedia software, and learning management systems. Minimum 4 years proven strong experience with:
  •  eLearning Authoring tools (Articulate 360, Storyline)
  •  LMS Platforms (Litmos or similar)
  •  Video Editing Software (Adobe Premiere Pro or Camtasia)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others.
• Excellent verbal, written, proofreading, and editing skills.
• High level of creativity, independence, and dependability.
• Flexibility and the ability to work in multiple time zones across Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe.
• Must be willing to travel to the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
