Job Description
We are seeking talented candidates with a desire to work in collaboration with our sales and marketing team, focused on exceeding goals in enterprise level B2B environments. The selected candidate will be a high achiever, marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head of Business development.

The expected salary range for this role is $75,000–$85,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Implement tactical & strategic initiatives - deliver sales best practice
- Data driven coaching - trend & activity analysis
- Build a world-class BDR org with the twin objective of creating a pipeline, across inbound and outbound, and is the primary source of talent for sales teams
- Hire, train, and manage a team of Sales and Business Development Representatives to hit pipeline targets and for promotion to account executives
- Provide leadership, development, and training for the BDR team to hit and exceed monthly and quarterly goals and achieve other defined objectives.
- Work as an operational leader managing the base of target accounts; orchestrating coordinated plays to consistently identify opportunities and grow pipeline.
- Tenaciously grow the business development organization, increase sales pipeline volume, optimize deal velocity and revenue via closed-won business.
- Attract, recruit, train, manage and retain a high-performing team of sales development representatives and sales development managers.
- Own overall responsibility for inspiring, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Set and meet key performance indicators and objectives and key results with the sales leadership team. Achieve and consistently exceed these monthly and quarterly goals.
- Develop and maintain BDR best practices, pitches, and objection handling.
- Work as a strategic partner to the marketing and sales organization to optimize the sales funnel, help to develop demand generation campaigns/content, and ensure global alignment in the business.
- Accurately forecast the sales development pipeline and proactively flag risk
Desired Skills & Experience
- A results-oriented mind set.
- 2+ years of experience as BDR Manager,
- 2-5 years of experience in telemarketing, customer service, inside sales, business development or sales development with enterprise software or high-tech products and services.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, additional languages will be a plus.
- Superior outbound calling, prospecting and lead generation skills.
- Strong ability to explain concepts and superior listening, phone and written communication skills.
- The ability to lead prospects to understand how our solution can solve their paint points and deliver value to their business.
- Sincere interest in people and a high degree of comfort communicating with senior level executives via various mediums (social, email, phone and video)
- The patience and persistence required to make multiple attempts to reach a target.
- A keen ability to think on your feet, learn quickly, and embrace changes.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and good computer skills.
- Good foundation to understand and learn IT technologies and enterprise information infrastructure.
- Nice to have experience in leveraging Employee Advocacy and Social Media to network with industry peers, share thought leadership content, and enhance brand visibility to support sales engagement and relationship building.
