Job Description
Denodo is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Principal Field Marketing Manager to join our growing team.
You will be primarily responsible for planning, developing, and executing field marketing events and digital programs. Your focus will be driving pipeline generation and acceleration to meet sales and marketing targets. You will ensure all initiatives are executed with excellence, on schedule, and within budget through effective management of timelines, resources, and processes.
Salary range: 135k - 155k base + bonus
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Field Marketing & Event Management
- End-to-End Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple regional, industry, and executive events.
- Onsite Logistics: Manage all onsite execution with finesse to ensure maximum brand exposure.
- Strategic Planning: Develop field program strategies with detailed task lists and track them through completion using project management tools.
- Vendor Management: Direct external relationships with vendors, venues, agencies, and media partners to maximize investment yield.
Campaign Optimization & Analytics
- Performance Tracking: Measure all program execution aspects against prescribed metrics to analyze efficiency and creative success.
- ROI Optimization: Partner with Marketing Operations to track and optimize event and campaign return on investment.
- Data Management: Ensure leads are uploaded to the CRM system swiftly, assigned to sales, and monitored for conversion progress.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Sales Alignment: Lead pre- and post-campaign execution in partnership with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Field Sales.
- Audience Segmentation: Create targeted segment lists and distribute them to sales teams to drive proactive customer and prospect follow-up.
- Enablement Support: Provide sales teams with necessary marketing collateral for outbound calling efforts and customer visits.
Digital & Demand Generation
- Digital Campaigns: Create and manage regional digital initiatives, including region-focused webinars, virtual events, and account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns.
- Regional Support: Execute additional duties as assigned to support broader North America demand generation initiatives.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Education: BA/BS degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 10-15 years of field marketing experience specifically within a B2B software company.
- Campaign Track Record: Proven success in creating and executing multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns (events, email, and social marketing).
- CRM Tools: Direct experience creating and reporting on marketing campaigns using Salesforce.com.
- Sales Cycle Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the B2B software sales cycle and how to structure marketing programs to nurture leads, progress opportunities, and accelerate pipeline closing.
- List Management: Experience creating segmentation lists and managing list acquisition to build high-quality prospect databases.
