Job Description

Denodo Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant in New York, NY. Responsible for delivering technical solutions, mentoring internal teams, and supporting consulting engagements. Oversee complex data projects, provide insights on industry trends, and represent Denodo in client interactions, user communities, and industry events. May require 10-20% domestic travel occasionally to client sites and community events.

Salary Range: $171,000-$190,000/yr.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Responsible for delivering technical solutions, mentoring internal teams, and supporting consulting engagements.
Oversee complex data projects, provide insights on industry trends, and represent Denodo in client interactions, user communities, and industry events.
Lead end-to-end consulting and implementation of data management solutions across hybrid, on-premises, and cloud environments.
Architect and deploy AI-enhanced solutions to optimize data integration, analytics, and reporting.
Build and manage virtual data marts, logical data warehouses, and advanced BI frameworks.
Drive multi-cloud data integration projects involving platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align business objectives with client expectations.
Proactively identify customer needs and translate them into actionable recommendations for Denodo’s leadership.
Ensure timely and effective problem resolution while fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or foreign equivalent.
5 years of experience in computer and information systems. 1 year inclusive experience leading complex data management projects and large-scale analytics initiatives. 2 years inclusive with SQL with experience in relational, NoSQL, and graph databases.
Special Requirements: Demonstrated experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). Demonstrated ability with API integrations, RESTful services, and cloud-native architectures. Demonstrated experience with version control systems like Git and cloud-based development workflows. May require 10-20% domestic travel occasionally to client sites and community events.
Alternative Requirements: Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field (or foreign equivalent) PLUS 2 years of experience in computer and information systems. 1 year inclusive experience leading complex data management projects and large-scale analytics initiatives. 2 years inclusive with SQL with experience in relational, NoSQL, and graph databases. (And same special requirements above).
