Job Description
Denodo is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join the marketing team. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for planning, developing, and executing demand generation campaigns to drive pipeline generation and acceleration - ensuring they meet sales and marketing goals and targets, are accomplished with excellence, and within budget through effective management of timelines, resources, and processes.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Our candidate is a versatile player with skills that help execute the following responsibilities successfully:
Demand/Lead Generation/Communication/Enablement
- Field Marketing: work with Japan Direct Sales team and Partner Channel Sales, Systems Integration partners, and Technology partners in the region to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple end-to-end regional, industry and executive events and programs on schedule, within budget and with excellent attention to detail.
- Optimize programs for success, tracking all aspects of program execution to prescribed metrics, and analyzing results to track program efficiency, timeliness, and creative success.
- Maximize event and campaign impact by leading execution of activities before, during and after events in partnership with sales development reps, field sales and other global marketing functions – ensuring that all activities are well thought out and executed.
- Develop follow up campaigns to continually nurture leads from previous campaigns to increase the lead score optimal for assignment to Business Development Representatives.
- Develop field event and/or program strategy and execution plan with detailed task list and track through completion using project management tool including assignment of tasks to others from Global and Regional Marketing teams and following up with them to ensure that the tasks are completed on time.
- Manage external relationships (vendors, venues, agencies, and media partners) effectively as needed to ensure maximizing all opportunities to get maximum yield from investment.
- Create segment lists using targeted selection criteria and provide them to sales development reps and field sales and ensure they follow up with customers and prospects.
- Work closely with Global Partner Program and Corporate Communications team to own, develop, and disseminate partner branding, blog, quarterly newsletter and press release guidelines locally.
- Perform all onsite logistics with finesse, including onsite presence, to ensure maximum brand exposure.
- Create and manage regional digital marketing campaigns such as industry/region-focused webinars, virtual events, third-party content syndication, eDM and account-based marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal results.
- Ensure leads are uploaded to the CRM system in time and assigned to and followed up by partners and monitor lead conversion progress.
- Support sales development reps and field sales with marketing material as needed for outbound calling efforts and sales customer visits.
- Source, purchase and maintain inventory of Marketing Collateral and Corporate giveaways for use in events.
- Support enablement activities while co-working with Direct Sales team, Partner Sales team and Partners.
- Other duties assigned to support Japan or APAC demand generation initiatives.
Desired Skills & Experience
- BA/BS degree with minimum 5+ years’ experience in B2B marketing (with a focus on demand generation, or partner marketing) at a software company.
- Familiarity with B2B software sales cycle, and how to structure marketing programs and work with partners to generate and nurture leads, progress opportunities, and accelerate closing.
- Proven history of working with the global and regional systems integrators to influence them to conduct marketing campaigns to generate leads through them.
- Experience creating and reporting on campaigns using Salesforce.com and launching online programs using marketing automation tools.
- Knowledge of project management tools like Asana, JIRA is a plus.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing and online nurture journeys.
- Experience with creating segmentation lists and list acquisition to build prospect lists for demand generation campaigns.
- Native Japanese and fluency in written and spoken English required.
- Proactive attitude and creative use of limited resources with high attention to detail.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills, passion for work and willing to generate results.
- Detail oriented with proven ability to drive multiple projects forward cross-functionally.
- Good knowledge of Salesforce.com, marketing automation tools (Marketo or similar) and various Webinar platforms is required.
- Available to travel internationally when needed.
